Eligibility Criteria

- The competition is available to persons between the ages of 14 and 25.
- There are two age groups: 14–17 years old and 18–25 years old.
- Minors must have written permission from their legal guardians to participate in the competition.
- Entrants must have Internet connectivity in order to participate.
- The entrant’s participation is completely personal, and he or she may not enter the contest on behalf of another individual.

- The photographer and UNESCO should give credit for the images.
- Any disagreements pertaining to the contest will be arbitrated in accordance with UNCITRAL guidelines.
Guidelines for Photos Submission
- The images should illustrate Silk Roads-related buildings, monuments, and urban design.
- The only modifications that may make to the images are basic ones like altering the brightness, contrast, cropping, or colour balance. Any such modifications should be specified in the description of the photograph.
- There must be no indication of the photographer’s identity in the pictures.
- In order to consider for exhibits, participants must submit high-quality images that may print on a variety of media.
- Any image that does not adhere to the rules of the contest may remove by the organiser.

Before July 31st, 2023, you must submit an application for the UNESCO picture contest.
