Financial Benefits of Hokkaido University Scholarship 2025
- Application fee.
- Salary is 100,000 yen per month. (In addition to the monthly stipend, 220,000 yen (70,000 yen for research students) paid in the month of registration, with 35,000 yen paid in April and October of the following year. \n Registration fee. All lessons.

Duration of Scholarship
- Master’s Degree: two years.
- Two-year professional degree program in accounting and public policy.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students who are currently enrolled or have graduated from schools that have signed Inter University Exchange Agreements and a Memorandum of Understanding on Student Exchange with Hokkaido University are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who are already Hokkaido University students cannot apply for this fellowship.
- When enrolling at Hokkaido University, students must be self-sufficient and not receive any other fellowships or scholarships.
Furthermore, candidates who rank in the top 25% of their class at their home institution are encouraged to apply, and they must provide evidence authorised by the president of that university.

To apply for the Hokkaido University Scholarship 2025 in Japan, candidates must complete the following steps:
- The preceding requirements must be provided to the appropriate universities.
- Each connected university may only pick one student and submit the appropriate documentation to Hokkaido University by the deadline. Applications sent directly by applicants will not be accepted.
- Submitted papers will not be returned.
- If an applicant’s status changes, please contact Hokkaido University as soon as possible via the connected university.
