Why Vienna Biocenter?
The Vienna Biocenter is a collective of five of Europe’s foremost research institutions. Summer School Dates
The summer program will commence on the last Friday of June and will conclude on the last Friday of August or August 31 each year.
Financial Coverage of Vienna Biocenter Summer School
- The students will entirely accommodate.
- A modern, well-furnished room with a shared kitchen and bathroom will be provided.
- Each participant will receive a stipend of 1400 Euros for nine weeks.
- Each student will issue a complimentary travel pass for the duration of the scholarship.

Eligiblity Criteria
- The participant may come from any gender and nationality.
- To qualify, applicants must have completed a minimum of 2 years of university studies by June 30 and satisfy one of the following conditions:
- Currently in the 3rd year of a 4-year BA or BSc (Hons) in a Life Science discipline.
- In the 4th year of a 4-year BA or BSc (Hons) in a Life Science discipline, with the intention to apply for a Master’s program (this will be confirmed).
- In the 1st year of a 2-year MSc program in a Life Science discipline.
- In the 2nd year of a US undergraduate Bachelor’s program in a Life Science discipline.
- In the 2nd year of a 4-year BTech in a Life Science discipline (India).
- The student is required to be pursuing life sciences.
- The applicant is required to possess a strong academic record.
- The students are required to be fluent in English.
- The students must have either three months of research experience or have received training as part of their educational program.
